Our jewellery
Are the flowers real? How do you insert real flowers into the glass?
The tiny flowers in the jewellery are not real, they are expertly handcrafted by Kathryn Greer.
One minuscule petal at a time, using flameworking techniques, Kathryn sculpts the tiny glass flowers with a specialized torch and specific skillset.
Once cooled down, the botanical elements are then set in elegant sterling silver, using silversmithing and jewellery-making techniques.
Where do the materials in the jewellery come from?
We buy our materials where they are closest to our workshop, best made and in the best working conditions for the employees.
The sterling silver comes mainly from the European Union and in rare cases from the USA.
The glass comes mainly from Italy, Germany, the USA and China (only top of the range!). We only select brands of very high quality materials.
Where is the jewellery crafted?
The Atelier Pétale workshop is situated in France, in the Parisian suburbs.
Who crafts the jewellery?
Kathryn Greer handles all stages of communication and craftsmanship.
She has been working with glass since 2004 and jewellery of all kinds for much longer.
Originally Irish and settled in the French countryside since 1994, her fascination for flowers and nature does not come as a surprise.
Bespoke & bridal jewellery
I am interested in custom jewellery for my wedding. When should I contact you?
It is best to contact us at least 3 months before your event, as personalized jewellery requires time for discussion, as well time for production.
However, if you are getting married in a shorter period of time, do not hesitate to contact us anyway and we would be delighted to help you find a solution for your wedding jewellery.
Payments & taxes
How can I pay for my order?
The possible methods of payment are: bank card and Paypal.
Payments in instalments are possible at checkout and through Paypal.
I live outside the EU and I am asked for customs duties.
Any customs and import taxes are the buyers responsibility. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.
Delivery & returns
When will I receive my jewellery?
Bespoke jewellery requires 6-8 weeks of discussion and production time.
If you purchased a ready-designed piece, please allow 2-3 weeks for production.
All orders are shipped to you with complimentary express shipping.
What carrier do you use to ship my order?
All orders are shipped with an express carrier, such as UPS, DHL, or similar.
Worldwide shipping is complimentary.
Where is my package?
All packages are sent with a tracking number and link emailed to you when your order is dispatched.
How to make a return or an exchange and within what period?
No returns & exchanges are accepted on bespoke or personnalized jewellery.
It is possible to make a return or an exchange provided that the product, as well as its packaging, is in its original state. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
To return or exchange your jewellery, contact us within: 14 days after receiving your jewellery.
Return the items to us within: 30 days of delivery.
We are not responsible for returning jewellery lost during transit.
